[deep breath, manages a trembling smile]

I'm going to play so many games, Sai. I'm going to take everything you taught me forward and -- at the end -- when I go to you -- We'll play again?

[scrubs at his eyes] Just wait for me a little longer, wherever you go.

[beginning to relax]

I have waited centuries. I will wait for you as long as it takes.

[shakes his head and looks back at the board, considering it, then plays, stone making a sudden loud snap as it is placed]

[plays again, focusing; it looks like he wants to show Sai his current level, when focusing and playing all-out]

[noting that, phasing from unsure to pleased and interested- and spending more time deliberating. it's best if they both go all-out.]

[starts focusing more as well, eyes almost pale as he mentally runs through potential developments on the board]
